Universal Solution for Al/Cu Installations

The OTL35-3x terminal is a professional universal clamp designed for a wide range of applications - from power engineering and industry to residential installations and photovoltaics. Thanks to innovative technology, it enables safe connection of both copper and aluminum conductors without the need for Cu/Al adapters or special bimetallic end fittings.

Construction and High-Quality Materials

The terminal body is made of galvanized aluminum combined with polyamide PA66, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity as well as high mechanical and corrosion resistance. The insulating element, made of thermoplastic material, features a flammability class V0 according to UL94, guaranteeing maximum operational safety even in harsh environmental conditions.

The compact design with dimensions of 46×46×40 mm fits into standard distribution board enclosures, while mounting on a TH-35 mm DIN rail allows for quick and secure installation in any system.

Electrical Parameters and Operating Ranges

The terminal operates at a rated voltage of 1000V AC/1500V DC and a current of 135A for Cu conductors / 120A for Al conductors, making it an ideal solution for both low-voltage and medium-voltage installations. The operating temperature range is from -25°C to +80°C, ensuring reliability under extreme environmental conditions.

It supports conductors with a cross-section of 2.5-35 mm² - both stranded and multi-core - with each connection achievable either directly or via sleeve terminals. Six available connection points per level enable flexible system configuration.

Safety and Certification

The product has achieved short-circuit class A, confirming its capability to serve as a main power element in installations exposed to overloads and short circuits. Compliance with standards EN 60947, EN 61238, and certifications UL 1059 and SGS FI confirm the highest quality and safety standards.

The IP20 protection rating guards against contact with live parts and prevents the entry of solid objects larger than 12 mm.

Ready-to-Use and Installation

Each terminal is factory-equipped with contact paste, which protects the electrical contact point from oxidation - the product is ready for immediate use upon removal from packaging. The mounting mechanism allows for rapid installation on a DIN rail or alternatively via screws.

The tightening torque indicated on the cover is 3 Nm for conductors 2.5-16 mm² and 6 Nm for conductors 25-35 mm², respectively.
