OTL35-5x connector grey, blue, yellow/green 5x1xAl/Cu 2.5-35mm² 1000V AC/1500V DC, universal terminal MAA5035A10
Universal solution for AL/CU installations
The OTL35-5x DIN rail connector is an advanced solution designed specifically for professionals dealing with electrical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial construction. The product is characterized by its versatility of application - it enables the safe connection of aluminum and copper conductors in a single terminal, eliminating the need for additional adapters or special bimetallic ferrules.
Construction and technical parameters
The housing is made of PA66 thermoplastic with a UL94 V0 flammability rating, ensuring maximum operational safety even in difficult environmental conditions. The connector supports conductors with cross-sections of 2,5-35 mm² (multi-core) and 2,5-25 mm² (stranded with and without ferrules), making it ideal for a wide spectrum of applications.
The device operates at a rated voltage of 1000V AC / 1500V DC, a rated current of 135A for Cu / 120A for Al, within a temperature range of from -25°C to +80°C, and provides an IP20 protection rating.
The mounting mechanism allows for rapid attachment to a standard TH-35 mm DIN rail or alternatively via screws on a flat surface. Ten connection holes distributed across five color fields (gray, blue, yellow-green) ensure intuitive connection organization.
Safety and certification
OTL connectors have passed rigorous mechanical, load, and short-circuit tests. The contact part is made of galvanized aluminum, and the contact surface is coated with applied contact paste.
The product meets the requirements of standards EN 60947-7-1:2009 and EN 61238-1:2003. The tightening torque is visible on the connector cover - it is 3 Nm for 2,5-16 mm² conductors and 6 Nm for 25-35 mm² conductors, respectively.
Practical applications
Its universal characteristics make the product widely applicable in:
- Residential and commercial switchboards,
- Automation and control systems,
- Photovoltaic installations,
- Power distribution points in low-voltage systems,
- Installations exposed to overloads and short circuits.
Availability in various color versions (gray, blue, yellow-green) facilitates the identification of individual circuit functions in switchboards. The compact design with dimensions of 79×40×65 mm allows for space savings in distribution cabinets while maintaining full functionality.
