Universal solution for high-performance Al/Cu installations

The OTL35 connector is a professional universal terminal designed for connecting aluminum and copper conductors in demanding electrical applications. Thanks to innovative galvanization technology and factory-applied contact paste, the device eliminates the need for additional bimetallic adapters.

Construction and materials ensuring safety

The connector body is made of PA66 polyamide with a UL94 V0 flammability rating. The conductive elements are made of galvanized aluminum.

The screw mechanism with a precision-machined pressure part effectively prevents wire pull-out during operation. The screws are made of galvanized aluminum, and their contact surface is factory-lubricated with contact paste.

Electrical parameters and range of applications

The device supports conductors with cross-sections from 2,5 to 35 mm² for both aluminum and copper, accommodating various core types: solid, stranded, and flexible. The rated voltage is 1000V AC / 1500V DC, and the rated current is 135A for copper and 120A for aluminum.

The operating temperature range from -25°C to +80°C allows for use in harsh environmental conditions. The IP20 protection rating protects against accidental contact with live parts.

Compliance with standards and safety certificates

The connector has short-circuit class A according to the EN 61238-1:2003 standard, meaning it has passed rigorous thermal cycling and short-circuit tests. This allows it to be used as a main power element in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits.

The product meets the requirements of standards EN 60947-7-1:2009 and EN 61238-1:2003, and holds UL1059 and SGS FI certificates.

Installation and ergonomics of use

The ClickSet™ mechanism enables rapid mounting on a TH-35 mm DIN rail without the use of tools. Alternatively, screw mounting to a flat surface is possible. The tightening torque is visible on the connector cover (3 Nm for 2,5-16 mm² conductors and 6 Nm for 25-35 mm² conductors).

The device dimensions are 16×40×45 mm.
