Universal solution for Al/Cu installations

The OTL35 yellow-green connector enables the direct connection of aluminum and copper conductors, from power utilities and industry to residential and photovoltaic installations.

Thanks to special galvanizing technology and factory-applied contact paste, the connector allows for direct connection of Al/Cu conductors without the need for adapters or special bimetallic ferrules. This significantly simplifies the installation process and minimizes the risk of assembly errors.

Its versatility of application means a single connector handles diverse applications - from solid wires and stranded conductors to sector-shaped conductors, both rigid and multi-stranded, within the cross-section range of 2,5-35mm². The yellow-green color identifies the component as intended for protective connections (PE).

Technical parameters and safety

The device offers high electrical parameters guaranteeing safe operation in demanding conditions. A rated voltage of 1000V AC / 1500V DC and a rated current of 135A make it suitable for installations with various voltage levels.

The housing, made of V0-rated thermoplastic (according to UL94), ensures resistance to environmental conditions within a temperature range of -25°C to +80°C. The internal layers are factory-bridged, eliminating the need for additional internal connections.

The connector has passed rigorous mechanical, load, and short-circuit tests, achieving short-circuit class A. This means it can be used as main power terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits.

Construction and mounting

The compact design with dimensions of 16×40×45mm allows for efficient use of space in electrical distribution boards. Mounting is performed on a standard TH-35mm DIN rail using the patented ClickSet™ mechanism, which enables rapid fastening without the use of tools.

The screw mechanism ensures a secure electrical connection while maintaining ease of operation - the tightening torque is visible on the connector cover, facilitating control of correct assembly. Alternatively, screw mounting is also possible for greater installation flexibility.

The IP20 protection rating protects against accidental contact with live parts under standard operating conditions.

The OTL35 connector is used in power distribution, main power terminals, and photovoltaic installations exposed to variable weather conditions.
