Universal solution for Al/Cu installations

The OTL50-2 terminal block enables direct connection of wires made of both materials without the need for additional adapters or special bimetallic terminals.

Thanks to the factory-applied contact paste, the terminal block is ready for use immediately after being taken out of the packaging. This significantly accelerates the installation process and minimizes the risk of assembly errors.

Construction and materials

The terminal block housing is made of thermoplastic material with V0 flammability class according to UL94. This material is characterized by resistance to high temperatures and self-extinguishing properties.

Compact dimensions (30×43×49 mm) while maintaining high current parameters allow for efficient use of space in distribution boards and control cabinets. The ClickSet™ mechanism enables rapid mounting on a TH-35 mm DIN rail, and alternatively, screw mounting is also possible for greater installation flexibility.

Operating parameters and certification

The terminal block offers a rated voltage of 1000V AC/1500V DC and a rated current of 320A. The operating temperature range from -25°C to +80°C makes it suitable for both cold storage and hot industrial environments.

The product has passed rigorous mechanical, load, and short-circuit tests, achieving short-circuit class A. This means it can be used as main power terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits. The terminal block supports wires with cross-sections from 1,5 mm² to 50 mm², both single-core and stranded.

Normative compliance

The terminal block meets the requirements of the most important European standards: EN 60947 and EN 61238, confirming the possibility of safe use with copper and aluminum wires. It also holds international certificates UL 1059 and SGS FI.

Each terminal block features a visible torque on the cover, which facilitates connection quality control during assembly. It is also available in other color versions (blue, yellow-green, red, black), making it easier to identify functions in multi-track installations.
