Universal busbar connector for professional electrical installations
The OTL50-3 MOREK connector is an advanced solution designed for demanding applications in power engineering, industry, as well as residential and photovoltaic installations. Thanks to innovative galvanization technology, it enables direct connection of aluminum and copper wires without the need for Cu/Al adapters or special bimetallic terminals.
Construction and materials
The housing is made of thermoplastic material with the highest flammability class V0 according to UL94, ensuring maximum operational safety and resistance to fire propagation. Conductive parts are made of galvanized aluminum, guaranteeing high electrical conductivity and long service life even in harsh environmental conditions.
The compact design with dimensions 46 × 80 × 41 mm (width × depth × height) enables optimal use of space in distribution boards while ensuring easy access to all mounting components.
Operating parameters and compatibility
The device supports a wide range of conductor cross-sections from 1.5 mm² to 50 mm², both solid and stranded (multi-strand). The rated current is 320 A, and the rated voltage reaches 1500 V, making it suitable for both low-voltage and medium-voltage installations.
The operating temperature range from -25°C to +80°C ensures reliability under extreme environmental conditions.
Mounting system
The mounting mechanism allows attachment to a DIN rail TH-35 mm, significantly speeding up the installation process. Alternatively, screw mounting is also possible, increasing application flexibility in various distribution board configurations.
The number of terminals per level is 6, enabling the creation of complex distribution systems while maintaining cable organization.
Regulatory compliance and certifications
The connector meets the requirements of standards EN 60947 and EN 61238, holds the UL1059 certificate, and the SGS FI certificate, confirming the highest production quality standards. The achieved short-circuit class A indicates suitability for use as main power terminals in installations exposed to overloads and short circuits.
Special contact paste applied during the production stage protects the electrical contact point against oxidation and galvanic corrosion between aluminum and copper, ensuring that OTL terminals are ready for immediate use upon removal from packaging.
