Universal solution for Al/Cu installations

The OTL50 MOREK busbar connector is an advanced solution designed for professionals who value reliability and versatility in electrical installations. Thanks to innovative tinning technology, it enables the direct connection of aluminum and copper conductors without the need for Cu/Al adapters or special bimetallic ferrules.

Technology and construction materials

The insulating body made of thermoplastic material with V0 (UL94) flammability rating ensures maximum operational safety. A special factory-applied contact paste protects the electrical contact point, making the connector ready for use immediately after unpacking.

The ClickSet™ mechanism allows for rapid mounting on a TH-35 mm DIN rail, significantly accelerating the installation process. Alternatively, screw mounting is possible for greater application flexibility.

Operating parameters and compatibility

The connector supports conductors with cross-sections of 1,5-50 mm² (stranded) and 1,5-35 mm² (solid), both with and without ferrule terminals. A rated current of 160 A and voltage of 1000V AC/1500V DC make it ideal for low-voltage and medium-voltage installations.

An operating temperature from -25°C to +80°C guarantees stable operation in difficult environmental conditions.

Safety and certification

The product meets the requirements of EN 60947 and EN 61238 standards and holds UL 1059 and SGS FI certificates. Each unit undergoes rigorous mechanical, load, and short-circuit tests, achieving short-circuit class A.

This means it can be used as main power terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits.
