The universal OTL50 DIN rail terminal is an advanced solution designed for professionals requiring the highest quality electrical connections. Thanks to its special design, this screw terminal allows for the direct connection of aluminum and copper conductors without the need for additional Cu/Al adapters or bimetallic ferrules.

Construction and materials - durability in harsh conditions

The body of the OTL50 terminal block is made of high-quality thermoplastic material with a UL94 V0 flammability rating, guaranteeing maximum operational safety even in the event of a thermal failure of the installation. The insulating material ensures dimensional stability and resistance to thermal aging within a temperature range from -25°C to +80°C.

The contact elements are coated with factory-applied contact paste. This coating protects the contact point from oxidation and ensures an excellent electrical connection immediately after removing the product from its packaging.

Electrical parameters - high loads in a compact form

The OTL50 universal terminal block supports conductor cross-sections from 1.5 to 50 mm² for solid and stranded conductors without ferrules. For stranded conductors with ferrules, the range is 1.5-35 mm². A rated current of 160 A at a voltage of 1500 V DC / 1000 V AC enables handling significant loads while maintaining an appropriate safety margin.

The modular design with dimensions of 18 × 43 × 50 mm (width × height × depth) ensures economical use of space on a standard 35 mm DIN TH-35 rail. One level contains two connection points, allowing for through-connections or power rail distribution.

Safety and certification - short-circuit class A for demanding applications

The product has passed rigorous mechanical, load, and short-circuit tests, achieving short-circuit class A. This means it can be used as main power terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits.

The connectors comply with EN 60947 and EN 61238 standards and hold UL1059 and SGS FIMKO certifications.
