The OTL50 connector in yellow-green is a professional universal terminal designed for the direct connection of aluminum and copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5-50mm². Thanks to innovative galvanizing technology and factory-applied contact paste, it eliminates the need for additional Cu/Al adapters or bimetallic ferrules.
Electrical parameters and safety
The device operates at a rated voltage of 1000V AC / 1500V DC, achieving a rated current of 160A for copper conductors and 145A for aluminum. The operating temperature range of -25°C to +80°C ensures reliability in various environmental conditions.
The connector has short-circuit class A, meaning it can be used as main power terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits. The housing made of material with a flammability rating of UL94 V0 guarantees maximum operational safety.
Construction and materials
The body is made of galvanized aluminum and polyamide PA66, providing corrosion resistance and mechanical stability. Compact dimensions (18×43×50mm) allow for high density in distribution boards while maintaining easy access to connections.
The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism allows for rapid attachment to a TH-35mm DIN rail or alternatively via screws, increasing installation flexibility.
Compliance and certificates
The product meets the requirements of EN 60947 and EN 61238 standards, holding UL1059 and SGS FI certificates. The IP20 protection rating protects against contact with live parts under standard installation conditions.
The tightening torque is visible on the connector cover (1.5 Nm for 1.5-2.5mm² conductors, 5 Nm for 4-10mm², 10 Nm for 16-50mm²), which facilitates correct installation.
