The OTL95-2 connector is designed specifically for modern electrical installations requiring flexible connection of aluminum and copper conductors. This blue-colored model with compact dimensions (42×51×84 mm) offers exceptional versatility while maintaining the highest safety standards.

High-quality construction and materials

The connector body is made of thermoplastic material with a V0 flammability rating according to UL94. The insulating element is characterized by excellent dielectric properties.

A key structural element is the factory-applied contact paste, which eliminates the need for additional conductor surface preparation before assembly and prevents the formation of an oxide layer on aluminum.

The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism allows for attachment to a TH-35 mm DIN rail. Alternatively, screw mounting is also possible in various types of switchgear.

Electrical parameters and safety class

The connector operates at a rated voltage of up to 1000V AC and 1500V DC for both low-voltage and medium-voltage installations. A rated current of 490A allows for the transmission of significant power loads in industrial and energy applications.

The device has achieved short-circuit class A after passing rigorous mechanical and load tests as main power terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits. Operating temperature range is from -25°C to +80°C.

Internal tiers are factory-bridged, simplifying multi-path wiring and reducing the risk of assembly errors. Four terminals per level provide flexibility in connection configuration.

Universal conductor compatibility

The OTL95-2 model supports a wide range of conductor cross-sections: from 6 to 95 mm² for multi-stranded conductors and from 6 to 70 mm² for stranded wires, both with and without ferrule ends, eliminating the need for additional Cu/Al adapters or bimetallic terminals.

The connector is compatible with copper and aluminum conductors of all types - solid wires, stranded wires, and sector conductors, both rigid and multi-stranded. The screw clamping mechanism ensures durable pressure and the possibility of multiple disconnections without loss of electrical parameters.

International compliance and certificates

The product meets the requirements of European standards EN 60947 and EN 61238 regarding low-voltage switchgear and terminal blocks for aluminum conductors. It holds the UL 1059 certificate confirming compliance with North American standards and the SGS FI certificate guaranteeing the highest manufacturing quality.

The available color palette (gray, blue, yellow-green, red, black) allows for easy color-coding of installations according to industry standards or the preferences of the power system designer.
