Universal solution for Al/Cu connections in power installations

The OTL95 blue lug is a professional universal connector designed for the secure connection of aluminum and copper conductors with cross-sections from 6 to 95 mm². Thanks to innovative aluminum galvanizing technology and factory-applied contact paste, the device eliminates the need for additional Cu/Al adapters or bimetallic ferrules.

High-quality construction and materials

The body made of PA66 polyamide is characterized by a V0 flammability rating according to UL94 standards, ensuring maximum operational safety in industrial conditions. The conductive elements are made of galvanized aluminum, guaranteeing durable electrical connections resistant to corrosion and oxidation. The compact design with dimensions of 25×51×84 mm fits on a standard TH-35 mm DIN mounting rail.

The hex screw mechanism (6 mm) allows for precise tightening with a torque of 12 Nm for conductors with a cross-section of 6-25 mm² and 22 Nm for larger cross-sections of 35-95 mm². The tightening torque is visible on the lug cover, facilitating control of correct installation.

Electrical and environmental parameters

The device operates at a rated voltage of up to 1000V AC and 1500V DC, supporting a rated current of 245A for copper conductors and 220A for aluminum conductors. The operating temperature range from -25°C to +80°C allows for use in harsh environmental conditions.

The IP20 protection rating protects against contact with live parts and access to solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The internal levels are bridged, enabling the creation of extensive distribution systems.

Regulatory compliance and certification

The lug meets the requirements of European standards EN 61238-1 (requirements for main power terminal blocks) and EN60947-7-1 (low-voltage switchgear and controlgear). It holds the international UL1059 certificate as well as national SGS FI and GOST-R certificates.

Due to rigorous mechanical, load, and short-circuit testing, the device has achieved short-circuit class A according to EN standards. This means it can be used as main power terminal blocks in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits.

Professional applications

The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism allows for rapid attachment to a DIN rail or alternatively via screws for surface mounting. Available in various color versions - gray, blue, yellow-green, red, and black - it allows for easy identification of functions within the electrical installation.
