The OTL95 grey connector is a professional universal terminal designed to handle aluminum and copper conductors in a wide range of cross-sections from 6 to 95mm². Thanks to special galvanizing technology, the product enables direct connection of Al/Cu conductors without the need for additional adapters or special bimetallic ferrules.

Construction and materials

The connector housing is made of thermoplastic material with a flammability rating of UL94 V0. The product features internal bridged tiers, which translates to better electrical stability of the connection.

The device dimensions are 25mm width, 51mm height, and 84mm depth, making it a compact solution for distribution boards with limited space. The terminal operates in a temperature range from -25°C to +80°C, maintaining full functionality in extreme environmental conditions.

Electrical parameters and performance

The OTL95 connector offers high electrical parameters: rated voltage up to 1000V AC and 1500V DC and a rated current In of 245A. These parameters make it an ideal choice for both low-voltage and medium-voltage installations.

The product has passed rigorous mechanical, load, and short-circuit tests, achieving short-circuit class A. This means the connector can be used as a main power terminal in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits.

ClickSet™ mounting system

The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism allows for rapid attachment of the connector to a standard DIN TH-35 mm mounting rail. This solution significantly accelerates the installation process and minimizes the risk of mounting errors. An alternative mounting method is the use of screws, which increases application flexibility.

The tightening torque is visible on the connector cover, facilitating control of the correct clamping torque during installation.

Ready to use and contact paste

Each OTL95 connector comes with factory-applied contact paste, meaning it is ready to use immediately after being taken out of the packaging. The contact paste ensures long-term stability of the Al/Cu connection, protecting against galvanic corrosion and maintaining low contact resistance during operation.

Normative compliance and certificates

The OTL95 connector meets the requirements of EN 60947 and EN 61238 standards, confirming its high quality and safety of use. The product holds UL 1059 and SGS FI certificates, confirming compliance with international quality standards.

The protection rating is IP20, providing basic protection against contact with live parts and against access to solid objects larger than 12mm.
