The BREAK25 reusable gel-filled joint is a professional solution designed specifically for low-voltage installations up to 1 kV. Thanks to its innovative two-piece design with high-density insulating gel, it provides connections and branches for conductors with cross-sections of 1,5‑25 mm².

Construction and materials ensuring maximum protection

The polypropylene housing is characterized by exceptional durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The two-piece design with internal ribbing creates an ideal container for the insulating gel, which guarantees full watertightness of the connection. Special walls at the ends of the joint prevent the gel from leaking out, while maintaining a high IP68 protection rating.

The system includes a patented phase separator consisting of two plates with a locking latch, which ensures insulation between phases. Additional notches to eliminate conductor movement and cable ties included in the set guarantee installation stability.

Operating parameters and electrical compatibility

The device operates in a wide temperature range from -20°C to +90°C, enabling use in extreme environmental conditions. The rated voltage of 0,6/1 (1,2) kV makes the joint ideal for typical low-voltage installations. The design allows for both splices (single- and multi-pole) and branch connections while maintaining full electrical functionality.

The housing material exhibits high resistance to UV radiation and aggressive chemicals.

The set includes all necessary mounting elements and optional modular screw connectors allowing for the connection of up to five conductors with a cross-section of up to 35 mm². The joint is intended for N(A)2YY type cables and can be used in both domestic and industrial installations.
