The BREAK50 reusable gel joint is designed for low voltage installations up to 1 kV. The two-part polypropylene housing construction combined with gel filling ensures long-term sealing and electrical insulation.

Construction and Materials Ensuring Maximum Protection

The two-part joint housing is made of durable polypropylene featuring a patented watertight system. Longitudinal ribs serve as a reservoir for high-density insulating gel, eliminating the risk of gel leakage and water ingress into the connection interior. Pre-weakened walls facilitate easy gel flow, ensuring complete sealing even with complex wire configurations.

The design includes two mounting holes for cable ties, effectively limiting conductor movement and stabilizing the entire connection. The phase separator, consisting of two plates with a locking latch, ensures proper insulation between phases, which is critical for electrical installation safety.

Technical Parameters and Operating Ranges

The joint supports a wide range of conductor cross-sections: through connection from 10 to 120 mm² (single conductor) and branch connections from 10 to 70 mm². The construction enables one-, two-, three-, and four-pole connections, allowing flexible installation configurations.

The device operates within a temperature range from -20°C to +90°C, maintaining full functionality even under extreme environmental conditions. Protection rating IP68 guarantees resistance to continuous water immersion and dust ingress, enabling safe use underground or in high-humidity locations.
