The MSCL2404A00 screw connector is a solution for connecting aluminum and copper conductors in installations with voltages up to 12 kV. The design, utilizing four break-off aluminum screws, ensures an electrical connection while maintaining ease of installation.

Construction and materials

The connector body is made of tin-plated aluminum alloy and is compatible with both aluminum (Al) and copper (Cu) conductors. The surface tinning protects against corrosion and maintains stable electrical parameters over a long service life.

The four aluminum screws are coated with a special anti-oxidant grease, which provides additional protection against oxidation. Each screw is designed to break off at the optimal torque, guaranteeing the best electrical connection without the risk of over-tightening or under-tightening.

Universal compatibility and operating range

The connector supports conductors with a nominal cross-section from 50 to 240 mm² in various configurations - for both aluminum conductors (SE, SM, RM, RE) and copper conductors (RM). This versatility eliminates the need to use different types of connectors in a single installation.

Sealing and a central partition provide additional protection for the connection in harsh environmental conditions. The design is fully waterproof, making it an ideal choice for installation both indoors and outdoors.

Simple installation without specialized tools

Break-off screw technology eliminates the need for specialized crimping tools - terminal installation becomes fast and easy using a standard socket wrench. This significantly accelerates installation work and reduces the risk of assembly errors.

The MSCL2404A00 cable connector has been tested according to the IEC61238-1 class A standard, confirming its high quality and reliability in demanding operating conditions. Class A indicates suitability for electrical and industrial installations where high-intensity and long-duration short circuits may occur.

The IP00 protection rating indicates the absence of an additional protective housing - the component is intended for installation in switchgear or installation boxes that provide adequate mechanical protection.
