Four-finger glove 38/11 SKR4 38/11
Universal cable sealing solution
The four-finger heat shrink sleeve is a reliable element of electrical installations, designed for effective sealing and protection of cable connections. This product, manufactured by Nexans, finds application in both home and industrial installations, ensuring safety and durability of connections.
Construction and materials
Made of cross-linked polyolefin with an inner layer of hot-melt adhesive, the sleeve provides excellent electrical insulation and mechanical protection against moisture and corrosion. This material is characterized by high resistance to abrasion, chemicals and UV radiation, which guarantees long-term reliability even in harsh operating conditions. The dielectric strength value is at least 12kV/mm.
Application and benefits
The SKR4 38/11 sleeve is dedicated to cables with a cross-section from 6 mm² to 35 mm². Its four-finger construction perfectly adapts to the shape of the cable, providing a tight connection even in branching areas. Installation is simple and quick – just heat the sleeve with a burner to activate the adhesive and shrink the material. This process creates a durable and waterproof cover, protecting the connection from negative environmental influences.
- Wide range of applications: ideal for securing connections in various types of electrical installations.
- High quality materials: polyolefin ensures durability and resistance to external factors.
- Simple installation: quick and easy application with a standard burner.
- Effective protection: protects against moisture, corrosion and mechanical damage.
- Versatility: fits cables with a cross-section from 6 to 35 mm².
- Ensures tightness: The four-finger construction guarantees a precise fit to the shape of the cable.
Technical specifications
The diameter after shrinking is 11 mm, and the diameter before shrinking is 38 mm. The shrinking temperature should be above 125°C, and the operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +100°C. These parameters ensure optimal performance in various environmental conditions. The inner diameter of the finger after shrinking is 4mm and before shrinking 14mm.
