NIBE S1155-12 EM Ground-Source Heat Pump

NIBE S1155-12 EM is a single-function brine/water heat pump with modulated heating capacity of 3-12 kW. The unit powered by 3×400 V voltage is equipped with inverter-controlled compressor and electronic circulation pumps with variable speed regulation.

Technology and Control

The heat pump uses an inverter compressor with heating capacity modulation of 3-12 kW, achieving energy class A+++ and seasonal coefficient of performance SCOP=5.5.

The control system is based on a 2.8" color touchscreen display with intuitive menu in Polish and an advanced operating system. The pump enables full Internet control via the myUplink application or myuplink.com website, as well as voice control and synchronization of operation with current weather conditions.

The device offers extensive system integration and expansion capabilities. NIBE S1155-12 EM enables connection of an external DHW tank, synchronization with photovoltaic systems or weather stations, and optimization of energy costs through dynamic tariffs. The system supports grid stabilization and can operate in a cascade configuration of up to 9 ground and/or air units.

Advanced communication features include a built-in MODBUS TCP/IP interface, Ethernet connection, and Wi-Fi for wireless communication. The system has a USB input for software updates, wireless accessory connection, and Smart Control functions for hot water demand optimization.

Performance and Operating Parameters

The device achieves impressive performance parameters: nominal heating capacity at B0/W35 is approximately 13.5 kW, and the COP efficiency factor reaches 4.87. Maximum supply temperature for the heating system is 65°C, enabling cooperation with both underfloor heating and traditional radiators.

The pump operates very quietly - the sound pressure level ranges from 21 dB(A) at B0/W35 at a distance of 1 meter. The refrigerant R407C with a quantity of approximately 2 kg complies with EU environmental standards.

The built-in heat meter enables precise monitoring of heating energy production, while time programs for daily and weekly profiles and the "Nobody Home" mode allow flexible management of the unit's operation.

System Functionality

NIBE S1155-12 EM has the capability for active/passive cooling when using the NIBE PCS/PCM/HPAC module and mechanical building ventilation using the NIBE FLM module or NIBE heat recovery unit. The device can also handle various heat sources: ground probes, surface collectors such as NIBE Ringrabenkollektoren or NIBE Kompakt Absorber, PVT collectors, and groundwater.

The system meets the requirements of EHPA Q and HP Keymark certificates in accordance with European heat pump quality standards.
