Flush-mount box for drywall – reliability and installation safety

This flush-mount box is designed for installation in drywall, offering a solid and safe solution for electrical installations. Designed for professionals and end-users, it provides easy installation and long-lasting functionality. Its construction allows for use in walls with a minimum installation depth of 61 mm and panel thicknesses from 5 to 40 mm.

Construction and application

Made of high-quality plastic, the box is characterized by mechanical strength and resistance to damage. It is a junction box with a round shape and a diameter of 74 mm, designed for mounting electrical devices using screws. Thanks to the possibility of securing the cover with screws, it ensures stability and safety of connections. Designed for pipes with a diameter of 20/25 mm, it offers flexibility in cable selection.

The HG 61-AD-D box is particularly recommended for installing CEE and PERILEX plug-in systems, but it will also work in standard electrical installations. Its construction allows for connecting cables with a maximum cross-section of 2.5 mm². It has as many as nine inlets, providing great freedom in cable routing. Inlets at the back facilitate access and cable organization.

Safety and compliance with standards

The box is made of halogen-free plastic, which means that it does not release toxic fumes in the event of a fire – this is crucial for user safety. It meets the IP30 standard, providing basic protection against touch and ingress of solid objects. Additionally, it is equipped with cable glands with knockouts, which facilitate their piercing without the need for additional tools. It is worth mentioning the certified acoustic insulation at a level of 70 dB – the box helps to reduce the transmission of sounds from outside.
