Durable surface-mounted enclosure for harsh conditions

The FG waterproof enclosure with dimensions 80×80×40 mm is a surface-mounted installation enclosure designed for use in both domestic and industrial installations. Thanks to its tight construction and robust materials, it effectively protects electrical connections from moisture, dust, and contaminants - it excels where standard flush-mounted enclosures fail.

Construction and materials

The enclosure is made of ABS thermoplastic - a material resistant to impact and atmospheric factors. It works in conjunction with a protective frame, which additionally seals the connection between the cover and the base and gives the whole unit an aesthetic, orderly appearance. The base features six holes for cable glands, allowing for the entry of cables and wires from various directions - mounting is possible in both horizontal and vertical orientations.

The base dimensions are 82×82 mm, and the total height with the closed cover is 47 mm. The cover measures 88×88 mm and overlaps the base on all sides, creating an IP44 class tight seal. Mechanical impact resistance reaches IK07, and the glow-wire test is passed at a temperature of 650°C - which means resistance to contact with heated installation elements.

Environmental resistance and operating conditions

The enclosure operates in a temperature range from -15°C to +60°C, making it suitable for both unheated interiors and areas near facades or building exteriors - where there is a risk of moisture condensation or contact with water splashes. The gray color (RAL 7035) blends well with typical facade and wall surfaces.

Application and compatibility

The FG enclosure is used for mounting sockets, switches, relays, and other electrical or alarm installation elements. The click-lock cover system accelerates both the installation itself and any potential disassembly for servicing. One bulk package contains 70 pieces, facilitating the supply of larger projects - both for installers working on individual sites and for companies executing development or industrial projects.
