SM-140 type screw-in plugs are used for fastening various types of lightweight elements to insulated residential building facades using an appropriate screw, e.g.: information boards, signs, lighting fixtures, cameras. The suitability for fastening and the assessment of fastening heavier elements is the responsibility of the installer, as three basic elements affect the pull-out force: polystyrene density, wind (for elements protruding from the substrate and having a large surface area), and the weight of the object being fastened itself.
