Example of application and function

The connector works as a spring‑return push button – ideal for controlling doorbells, gongs or other low‑power devices that require a brief activation. It is not intended for controlling lighting or motors, but provides precise and repeatable operation when pressed. The blue backlight is active only while the button is pressed – there is no illumination in the idle state.

Construction and installation

The installation is surface‑mounted – the module is placed in a standard installation box. Self‑returning claws with stainless‑steel springs make it easy to snap it into the box without additional screws. A replaceable lighting element allows changing the light colour – simply swap the module if you want, for example, to replace the blue with red or white. The frame is not included – it must be purchased separately, but the module is compatible with all Sonata series frames, including glass, metalised or wooden ones.

The marking on the back of the base shows the recommended wire stripping length – no manual measurement required. The side wire terminals allow checking that the wires are correctly inserted into the contacts even after the whole module is mounted in the box – an important advantage for installation quality control. The button has a red accent – you can easily identify which terminal is power and which is for the doorbell.
