Control connector with orange backlight - WHITE ŁP-12YS/M/00
The connector that tells you when it’s working
This is not an ordinary switch. The backlight illuminates only when the circuit is energized – meaning when the light is on, not when it’s off. This matters: the installer immediately knows whether current is flowing, and the user doesn’t have to guess whether the button is “broken” or if there’s simply no power. The orange backlight is bright enough to be visible in a dark room, yet not intrusive at night – it doesn’t strain the eyes.
Threadless clamp terminals allow for quick, tool-free wiring. No screws need tightening – simply insert the wire and press. This saves time during installation while ensuring a stable electrical connection. The rated current of 16 A is standard for most lighting circuits and small appliances – ideal for controlling lamps, air conditioners, or fans.
For the installer – simple and hassle-free
Surface mounting is the default choice in modern construction. The connector fits into a standard 60 mm mounting box. No special tools or additional components are required – it works “out of the box.” The frame is not included – and this is intentional: it allows seamless matching with any frame from the Impresja series, regardless of material (glass, aluminum) or color (white, anthracite, gold). If you already have frames installed on the wall, this switch will fit perfectly.
The ability to replace the backlight module adds extra flexibility. If the client later prefers a more minimalist interior – simply swap the LED for a white or blue one. No need to replace the entire unit.
For the user – a quiet indicator
No unnecessary glare. No flickering. No “green switch like in the subway station.” The orange light acts as a subtle status indicator – as if saying: “power is here.” In the bathroom, bedroom, or kitchen – where lighting must be comfortable but not aggressive – this detail makes all the difference.
The IP-20 version is standard for dry indoor environments. But if moisture protection is needed (e.g., in a bathroom), you can add a sealing kit – and the switch becomes IP-44 without any structural changes. This is a rare approach: the product evolves with the installation’s needs.
