The box has been designed as an integral part of the SONATA system—not merely as a housing, but as a component that seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetics. Its shape enables natural integration into wall corners, where traditional boxes often pose installation or final appearance challenges. With a thickness of 32 mm, it provides ample space for wiring and modules without requiring deep cuts into the wall—critical when working with brick, drywall, or lightweight constructions.

The Kashmir frame is more than just decorative. It’s a subtle blend of beige and gray that acts as a neutral filter between technology and interior design. It doesn’t draw attention, yet enhances—harmonizing effortlessly with wooden panels, stone, white walls, or even dark accents. You don’t have to choose between modernity and classicism: this color belongs to both worlds.

Installation requires no compromises. Self-returning latches with stainless steel springs function like a “holding spring”—the module slides in smoothly and locks securely without additional pressure. Side cable exit is not only an aesthetic feature—it allows you to verify proper insulation cut and ensure wires aren’t overly tightened in terminals after installation. This matters for safety and connection longevity.

Example: When installing two modules (e.g., socket + connector) in the same box, spacer elements on the bridges ensure perfect spacing—no need to bend modules or use additional spacers. Everything fits together like puzzle pieces.

The measurement mark on the rear wall of the box is a small but valuable feature—it allows quick determination of the required insulation length before inserting the wire into the terminal. No ruler or guesswork needed. This saves time during mass installations and reduces error risk.

The frame is secured with a quick-release mechanism—removal requires no tools or screw removal. Simply lift the edge slightly, and the frame comes out cleanly without damaging the wall surface or the frame itself. This is useful for servicing or future interior style changes.

Double complete sockets or USB charging sockets cannot be installed—this limitation results from the internal structure and module dimensions. However, for most standard applications (two units: 1x socket + 1x connector), the box performs flawlessly.

This product is part of the OSPEL.SONATA system, ensuring full compatibility with wireless controllers, touch modules, and other series components. You won’t need to buy a different box if you later decide to add app- or voice-controlled lighting.
