Installation and construction features

The socket is designed for flush mounting, ensuring an aesthetic appearance of the installation. Equipped with screw terminals, it guarantees a secure and durable connection of wires. The socket design has been thought out in terms of ease of installation – a scale on the back of the base facilitates determining the appropriate length of wire stripping. Side wire routing allows for quality control of their connection before mounting the socket in the installation box.

It is worth noting a number of conveniences designed with installers in mind: a two-color screw marking system (silver and gold) facilitates identification of the power supply wire terminals, and the claws equipped with snap-in base elements facilitate the mounting of the switch module in the installation box. Quick mounting/dismounting of the frame thanks to the quick-release mounting cover further speeds up work.

Safety and standards

The socket has an IP20 degree of protection, which means protection against touching live parts and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. This ensures safe operation under standard operating conditions. Current path shutters (available in other versions of this model) provide additional protection against electric shock, protecting against the introduction of metal objects into the socket openings. The housing of the self-returning expansion claws minimizes the risk of cuts during installation.
