Single computer socket, Cat. 5e MMC - ANTHRACITE GPK-1Y/K/M/50
Computer socket, Category 5e, anthracite color
This RJ45 socket is designed for connecting Category 5e UTP cables – ideal for stable, high-speed data transmission in homes, offices, or commercial spaces. Flush-mount installation with clips and screws allows secure and durable mounting in a standard backbox, without requiring additional tools. The connector IDC (Insulation Displacement Connection) ensures fast and reliable wire termination – no stripping of conductors or threaded clamps are needed. Simply insert the cable and lock it in place – saving installers time and eliminating the risk of installation errors.
The anthracite color is not merely aesthetic. It is a distinct yet neutral shade that harmonizes well with minimalist gray-toned walls as well as more expressive colors such as black or deep green. The frame, made of metal and engineered plastic, features a brushed finish that resists dust accumulation and resists scratching during daily use. There is no LED illumination – no unnecessary elements that would compromise the clean, minimalist lines.
IP20 protection rating indicates this device is intended for indoor use only – not suitable for damp areas or outdoor installation. It is not shielded – which is not an issue in most home LAN networks where electromagnetic interference is minimal. If higher EMI resistance is required, consider using shielded (STP) cable; however, this socket functions correctly even with standard UTP cables.
Dimensions of 71×71 mm ensure compatibility with standard mounting frames – no modification of cutouts or special enclosures are needed. Embedding depth of 20 mm is only slightly more than a typical flush-mounted box – installation is clean and flush with the wall.
There are no “magic” features here. No overblown marketing. This is a tool – simple, proven, built from quality materials. For the installer: fast mounting without threading. For the user: a clean line that neither stands out nor disappears into the background.
