Splash-proof socket with grounding Schuko IP-44, transparent cover - WHITE IMPRESJA GPH-1YS/M/00/D
Splash-proof socket with Schuko grounding – ready for recessed mounting
This socket is designed for areas requiring protection against water and dust – kitchens, bathrooms, garages, or outdoor spaces. The IP-44 protection rating ensures that water sprayed from any direction cannot enter, while the transparent cover shields the contacts from dust and accidental touch. This protection works without additional covers – simply mount it in a frame and it’s ready.
Threaded terminals allow for safe and durable wire connections – no need to worry about loosening over years of use. Wires can be tightened by hand, without specialized tools, speeding up installation and reducing the risk of error. Note: this type of terminal is especially useful when working with thicker copper cables or in older buildings where insulation may be slightly damaged.
For the installer – simplicity and compatibility
Recessed mounting with claws and screws enables stable fixation even on uneven walls. No additional boxes are needed – the socket itself has sufficient depth (25 mm) and structural rigidity to prevent deformation under frame pressure. The frame is not included – this is intentional: it allows you to match it to any interior style, whether a minimalist aluminum frame or a glass one in vibrant lime color.
All components in the Impresja series are mutually compatible – you can have a socket, switch, and indicator light in the same style without needing to purchase different product lines. This reduces inventory SKUs and simplifies logistics for project execution.
For the user – neutrality and durability
The white color does not draw attention – but that doesn’t mean it’s bland. Against pastel walls or dark panels, it appears as a natural architectural element. It does not yellow over time and remains crack-resistant across temperatures from -10°C to +40°C. Protective shutters prevent finger contact – especially important in homes with children.
No backlighting? That’s not a flaw – it’s a deliberate design choice. Where nighttime visibility is needed, a separate light source is preferable to a “glowing” socket. Here, everything operates silently, without noise or unnecessary effects.
This socket is not the “best” or the “newest.” It’s simple. It’s proven. And it works.
