Two-Group Switch with Backlight – Practical Solution for Complex Lighting Systems
This is not just a regular switch. It’s a tool that lets you control two separate lighting zones from a single point—ideal for chandeliers with separate main and accent lighting, or for managing kitchen and bedroom lighting with one button. The orange backlight acts as a position indicator: in the dark, you see exactly where the switch is, without unnecessary glare. No need to fumble for it in a dark hallway or cover it with tape—it doesn’t emit too bright a light.
The screwless terminals aren’t just about faster installation—they’re about safety and long-term reliability. Wires are mechanically clamped, eliminating the risk of over-tightening or loose screws after years of use. The installer doesn’t need to worry about torque, and the user doesn’t need to fear loss of contact. Simple, yet effective.
IP20 protection rating is standard for indoor use—it protects against finger contact and small foreign objects, but is not suitable for damp locations. If installing in a bathroom or stairwell, you must add an appropriate sealing kit. In standard configuration, it operates safely in bedrooms, living rooms, or offices.
The ecru color is not white. It’s a warm, slightly creamy tone—not reminiscent of plastic from the 90s, but rather a natural, matte finish that blends seamlessly into both modern interiors with concrete and wood, and classic spaces with ornate plaster cornices. The frame is not included—but this is intentional. It allows you to match it to any configuration: single frame, triple frame, or as part of a larger block with sockets and dimmers.
Surface mounting is the default solution for new installations. The clips and screw ensure stability—even if the wall surface isn’t perfectly flat. No need for special “spike boxes” or additional tools. Just cut the hole and push it in.
Remember: this switch contains no electronics or smart features. No Bluetooth, no app. It has two contacts, two levers, and one backlight—and that’s all it needs. It has worked just as reliably for decades as it does today: silent, interference-free, and failure-proof.
