It is ideal as a wrap for steel pipes passing through partitions, filling installation passages, and securing expansion joints. Its formula based on a water dispersion of synthetic resin ensures complete non-combustibility and endothermic properties, effectively blocking the spread of fire in the event of a fire.

PiroCoat A paste is distinguished by a fire resistance class of up to EI 120 and a reaction to fire of Bfl-s1, B-s2,d0. The creamy-white color makes it easier to assess the uniformity of application. In practice, this means effective protection of structural elements against high temperatures and flames. Importantly, the theoretical efficiency of the paste is 1.93 kg/m² with a coating thickness of 1 mm – which translates into economical use of the product.
