Pneumatic cylinder – reliability and precision in operation
This pneumatic cylinder, made of stainless steel, is a robust solution for applications requiring corrosion resistance and high durability. It meets the ISO 6432 standard, guaranteeing compatibility with a wide range of pneumatic systems. It is an ideal component for both professional installers and end-users looking for a reliable component for their machines and devices.
Design and parameters
The cylinder is characterized by a piston diameter of 25 mm and a stroke of 100 mm. It is made of high-quality materials: sleeve made of AISI 304 stainless steel, piston made of CK45 chrome-plated carbon steel (for piston diameters D8-10) or AISI 303 stainless steel (for piston diameters D12-63), and cover made of anodized aluminum. The use of polyurethane seals (optionally Viton on request) ensures tightness and long-term operation. Built-in mechanical damping reduces shocks at the end of the stroke, which extends the life of the cylinder and increases comfort of operation.
Applications and benefits
- Versatility: Thanks to compliance with ISO 6432, this cylinder can be easily integrated with existing pneumatic systems.
- Corrosion resistance: Made of stainless steel, it makes it an ideal choice for environments with increased humidity or exposed to aggressive substances.
- Durability: Solid construction and high-quality materials guarantee a long service life even in demanding working conditions.
- Smooth operation: Mechanical damping minimizes shocks and noise during operation, which translates into greater comfort and precision.
- Wide temperature range: The ability to operate at ambient temperatures from -10°C to +80°C (and even up to +150°C when using Viton) expands its range of applications.
- Easy maintenance: Does not require lubrication, which simplifies operation and reduces operating costs.
Additional information: the working pressure is from 1 to 10 bar, and the working medium is filtered compressed air. Please remember to order the mounting nut (GM) for the cover separately.
