The switch operates on the principle of automatic DC circuit disconnection upon detection of AC network issues or exceeding the critical temperature of 70°C. This eliminates the risk of electric shock during firefighting operations and protects valuable equipment from damage caused by sudden voltage loss.
Automatic Operation and PV System Protection
The device's operation mechanism is based on intelligent AC power monitoring. When firefighters or service personnel disconnect the AC power supply (e.g., via an emergency switch), the PEFS switch automatically detects the network failure and, after 5 seconds, immediately disconnects all three DC circuits of the photovoltaic panels.
This functionality provides dual protective benefits. First, it ensures complete safety for rescue teams by eliminating high DC voltage in the range of 600-1500V, which poses a lethal threat during firefighting on roofs with PV installations. Second, it protects the inverter from damage resulting from sudden AC voltage disconnection, significantly extending the service life of costly equipment.
The device is completely maintenance-free - it requires no manual resetting or additional configuration. Upon restoration of AC power, it automatically restores DC connections, ready for normal operation of the photovoltaic system.

It supports DC voltages up to 1500V DC and currents up to 50A per string, making it compatible with modern high-power photovoltaic installations.
