This 6000/4IO module is a versatile device that expands the capabilities of the fire alarm control panel with additional input/output functions and support for conventional lines. Thanks to the dual interface, it allows for the integration of various sensors and signaling devices, as well as control of external circuits. It is an ideal solution for both installers and end-users who need a flexible and reliable system.

Functionality and application

The 6000/4IO module offers two conventional detection and signaling lines, allowing the connection of traditional smoke detectors, heat detectors, and optical and acoustic signaling devices. Additionally, it has two volt-free NO/NC relays and two monitored inputs. These relays can be used to control external devices such as fire dampers, ventilation systems, or fire doors. The monitored inputs, in turn, allow the connection of additional sensors or alarm devices with the ability to remotely monitor their status.

It is worth noting the diversity of outputs – one relay can handle a load of up to 230 V AC, which is particularly useful in older installations. The second output with parameters of 2 A / 24 V DC allows integration with modern low-voltage devices. The module requires an external power supply with a voltage of 18-28 V DC, which ensures independence from the voltage in the monitoring loop.
