Input/Output Module for Fire and Security Alarm Systems

This module, known as 6000/MICCO, expands the capabilities of fire and security alarm systems with an additional input and output. It is a single interface that allows connection of external devices and integration with existing infrastructure. Its design based on loop power supply ensures reliable operation and simplifies installation.

Functionality and application

The 6000/MICCO module is used to monitor the status of external devices and control them. The monitored input allows receiving signals from sensors or other sources, and the output relay with a load capacity of up to 230V AC enables control of receivers such as sirens, warning lights or ventilation systems. Thanks to this, this module is a versatile element in the construction of complex alarm systems.

Technical characteristics and benefits

The module is fully addressable, which simplifies its configuration and integration with the system. Power supply from the loop eliminates the need for additional power cables, which simplifies installation and reduces costs. The loop current is 0.55 mA in standby and 2.2 mA in alarm – these values allow for efficient use of loop resources. The relay output with a load capacity of 5A / 230V AC provides the ability to control various devices. It is worth noting the compact dimensions (147.3 x 86.7 x 10 mm) and low weight (0.11 kg), which facilitate installation even in tight spaces. Monitoring resistors (47 kΩ) and alarm resistors (330 Ω) ensure proper communication with the system control panel. Input voltage in the range of 18-28V DC guarantees compatibility with most standard fire alarm systems.
