The 6000PLUS/OP detector is an addressable, optical smoke detector designed for quick and reliable fire detection. It utilizes a scattered light beam, ensuring high performance. It is a component of the Protec fire alarm system from D+H, characterized by high resistance to false alarms and ease of operation.
Construction and application
The detector is designed for installation in addressable systems, where each detector has a unique address allowing for precise location of the hazard. This allows the installer to quickly identify the location of the fire, and the user – to take appropriate action. The ability to display the logical address on the element facilitates identification during servicing and maintenance. In combination with dedicated bases (6000PLUS/BASE or 6000PLUS/FFBASE) it provides discreet mounting and aesthetic appearance.
