Input and side line module – expansion of the fire alarm system
The 6000/16ZI module is a key element in fire alarm systems, designed to expand existing installations with additional detection inputs or side lines. It enables integration with various types of sensors and peripheral devices, providing comprehensive object protection. Its design allows for flexible adaptation to the specific needs of the installation, and its compact dimensions facilitate mounting even in limited spaces.
Functionality and application
This module combines the functions of an input module and side lines, offering 16 independent conventional inputs. It can be used to connect smoke, heat or gas detectors, as well as other alarm devices. This increases the reliability and effectiveness of the entire fire detection system. Requires an external power supply, which ensures independence from the main power supply of the control panel.
- Versatility: possibility of connecting 16 conventional detection inputs.
- Flexibility: ideal for expanding existing fire alarm systems.
- Compatibility: works with various types of sensors and peripheral devices.
- Status monitoring: provides continuous monitoring of the status of connected lines and devices.
- Fast response: enables quick detection of a threat and activation of the alarm.
Technical characteristics and installation
The 6000/16ZI module is characterized by a solid construction and high quality workmanship. Its dimensions (222 x 18.5 x 108 mm) allow for easy mounting in control cabinets or alarm system enclosures. The alarm current consumption is 11.5 mA, and the standby current is also 11.5 mA – which allows for efficient energy management in the system. Important elements are the monitoring resistors (8.2 kΩ) and alarm resistors (0.9 kΩ), which ensure the correct operation of the detection system. The module weight is only 0.14 kg, which facilitates its transport and installation. Installation should be carried out by a qualified installer in accordance with applicable standards and fire safety regulations.
