Module 6000/APZA 73.PM0.04
Side Lines and Indicator Module – Fire Alarm System Extension
This module, catalog number 73.PM.04, is a key element in expanding fire alarm systems with additional detection and signaling lines. It is an interface designed to work with conventional detection and signaling lines, allowing integration of existing devices with modern alarm panels. Thanks to it, the system can effectively monitor a larger area and more effectively inform about the threat.
Functionality and application
The 6000/APZA module allows connecting one conventional detection line and one conventional indicator line. This solution is particularly useful in facilities where it is necessary to expand an existing installation without having to replace the entire alarm panel. It finds application in commercial, industrial, public utility buildings and in single-family homes – everywhere where reliable fire protection is required. It is worth remembering that the module requires an external power supply for proper operation.
Technical characteristics and benefits for the installer
The module is characterized by compact dimensions (146.5 x 42 x 118 mm) and low weight (0.25 kg), which facilitates its installation in various locations. It has an EOL resistor of 10 kΩ for the indicator line and supports a maximum signal line load of 1 A. This ensures stable and reliable communication with connected devices. Additionally, the module is compatible with ROP resistors with a value of 330 Ω or 180 Ω at the detection line input, which increases installation flexibility. Alarm and supervision current is 0.6 mA, minimizing power consumption from the control panel. Maximum quiescent current is 500 μA.
