Rack cabinet security – anti-sabotage kit RWST

This kit of four tamper switches is designed to secure 19" rack cabinets against unauthorized access. Using RWST tamper switches significantly increases the security level of server, network and telecommunications installations, minimizing the risk of sabotage or theft. Thanks to its universal design, the kit fits popular RWA/RW/RWD/RS/ZRS cabinet models, securing the front, side and rear doors.

Functionality and installation

The kit consists of four plates with built-in microswitches. Installation is simple and two-point – it uses standard 19" rack profiles. The kit includes all necessary mounting elements: 8 M6 screws and baskets, making installation quick and easy. The tamper reacts to an attempt to open the door, sending an alarm signal to the monitoring or access control system.

Technical specifications and operating parameters

Made of 1 mm thick DC01 sheet metal, painted black (RAL9005), the tamper is characterized by durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Designed to work with circuits up to 30V DC (1A) and 250V AC (3A), it ensures reliable operation in various installation configurations. The tamper dimensions are 153 x 66 x 17 mm (+/-2 mm). The weight of a single tamper is approximately 300g.

Additionally, the tamper has C/NO (C/NC closed) contacts, providing flexibility in connecting to various alarm systems. The kit is covered by a two-year manufacturer's warranty – Pulsar K. Bogusz Sp.j.
