Remote monitoring interface for power supplies

The INTE-C Ethernet interface is a device that allows you to connect EN54C-LCD series (Red Power plus) and HPSG3-LCD power supplies to an Ethernet network, enabling remote monitoring and control of their operation. By working with the PowerSecurity web application, users can continuously monitor the power supply status, analyze event history, view current and voltage graphs, and remotely perform battery tests. This solution is particularly useful in fire protection systems where reliable power operation is critical.

Functionality and application

The INTE-C interface provides comprehensive access to data regarding the power supply operation. Optical signaling using LEDs informs about the power supply voltage, Ethernet connection, and data transmission. This allows for quick diagnosis of problems and effective power system management. The use of the interface significantly facilitates servicing and maintenance of the installation, minimizing downtime. Thanks to the ability to automatically send email notifications about failures, users are immediately informed of potential problems, allowing for a quick response and preventing more serious consequences.

Design and parameters

The device is characterized by compact dimensions (71 x 20 x 50 mm) which facilitates mounting inside the power supply housing. Power is supplied via the SERIAL socket of the power supply (3.3 V DC). The interface has an RJ-45 port for connecting to the Ethernet network and a SERIAL socket for connecting to the power supply. The LAN transmission speed is 10/100 Mb/s, and the TTL transmission speed is up to 115200 baud with parity control. It also has CNBOP-PIB approval for use in fire protection systems compliant with the EN54C-LCD series. Additionally, the interface offers galvanic isolation between the Ethernet network and the power supply, which increases system security. The manufacturer's warranty is 3 years from the date of production.
