Power supply enclosure for alarm and access control systems

This metal enclosure, designed by Pulsar, provides a solid foundation for SSWiN KSENIA systems, offering a secure and functional space for the alarm control panel and additional modules. It is an ideal solution for both professional installers and users looking for reliable power for their security system.

The AWO195 enclosure has been designed with easy installation and user convenience in mind. The well-thought-out design ensures free air flow, which affects the stable operation of the power supply and extends its lifespan. Made of steel sheet with a thickness of 0.7 mm, coated with an anti-corrosion coating in RAL 9003 color (white), guarantees durability and resistance to environmental conditions.

Application and functionality

The enclosure is adapted for surface mounting in enclosed spaces at temperatures from -10°C to +40°C. Inside there is a switch-mode power supply with a power of 50W, which provides a stable output voltage of 15V DC with a current of 3.4A. Additionally, the enclosure offers space for a 17Ah / 12V (SLA) battery, which ensures continuous operation of the system even in the event of a mains power failure. Output voltage regulation in the range of 13.5-18 V DC allows you to adjust the power supply parameters to the specific requirements of connected devices.

Safety and protection

Safety is a priority. The enclosure is equipped with overload protection (OLP), short circuit protection (SCP), overvoltage protection (OVP) and has a tamper – microswitches reacting to opening the enclosure or detaching it from the wall. The use of an external installation switch with a rated current of 6A is required to ensure full protection of the power supply circuit. Protection class I (EN 62368-1) further increases the level of safety.

Mounting and installation

The enclosure should be installed by a qualified installer with appropriate qualifications. Remember to disconnect the voltage in the power circuit before starting installation work and to properly connect the grounding wire to the designated terminal in the enclosure. The enclosure can be closed with a screwed mechanism or optionally a MR008/MR027 lock can be mounted. The external dimensions of the enclosure are 320 x 434 x 91+8 mm (with distance from the wall).
