Robust enclosure for alarm and access control systems

This metal enclosure, catalog number AWO224 and commonly known as 17/EXP/SAT, is a reliable solution for securing and mounting components of SSWiN systems, access control, and other security systems. Designed for durability and functionality, it provides a safe place for alarm panels, expanders, and additional modules.

### Construction and application

Made of DC01 steel sheet (0.7mm or 1.0mm thick), the enclosure features a solid construction and corrosion resistance thanks to appropriate anti-corrosion protection in RAL 9003 color. Its external dimensions (320x304x101+8 mm) allow for comfortable installation even of expanded systems. Additional distance from the wall (8mm) facilitates cabling and provides better air circulation. The enclosure is designed for surface mounting and can be locked with screws.

The enclosure is compatible with Satel devices, including INT-E and INT-PP expanders and APS-412 buffer power supplies. The ability to mount Pulsar PSB251215, PSB351225, PSB501235 and PSB751250 power supplies further increases its versatility.

### Safety and protection

The enclosure is equipped with a tamper – an anti-sabotage protection that detects opening of the enclosure. The tamper output has a capacity of up to 500mA at 50V DC, providing effective protection against unauthorized access. The IP20 protection class guarantees basic protection against accidental contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. Designed for use in enclosed spaces at temperatures from -10°C to +40°C and relative humidity up to 90% (without condensation).
