Power supply enclosure for alarm and access control systems

This metal enclosure, designed by Pulsar, provides a solid foundation for SSWiN KSENIA systems. It is ideal for mounting alarm control panels and additional modules, offering a comprehensive solution for installers and end-users. The enclosure's construction not only protects the components but also facilitates installation and servicing.

The enclosure has been designed for easy installation by a qualified installer. Special caution is required when connecting to the ~230V power grid – it is necessary to disconnect the voltage before starting work and use an external switch with an appropriate contact gap (minimum 3mm). Additionally, it is recommended to install an installation switch with a nominal current of 6A in the power supply circuit. The power supply built into the enclosure operates in continuous mode, so it is important to ensure adequate overload protection in the installation.

Inside the enclosure there is a switch-mode power supply with a power of 25W, providing a voltage of 15V DC with a current of 1.7A. The power supply is characterized by high efficiency (83.5%) and protection against overload (OLP), overvoltage (OVP) and sabotage (tamper switch). In addition, the enclosure has space for a 7Ah / 12V SLA battery, which ensures a reliable backup power supply for the system.

Durable construction: Made of DC01 sheet metal with a thickness of 0.7 mm with anti-corrosion protection.

Versatility: Designed for mounting Pulsar Lares series control panels (16, 16 IP, 4.0 – 16, 4.0 wls 96 Kit) and Auxi, Auxi Relay, Auxi 10in, BUS Switch, PSTN, Gemino BUS and 3G modules.

Safety: Has OLP, OVP and anti-tamper protection.

Easy installation: Possibility of mounting lock MR008 / MR027. Distance from wall/floor is 8mm which facilitates cable routing.

Optimal parameters: Power supply with a power of 25W and an output voltage adjustable in the range of 13.5-16.5 V DC.

Meets standards: IP20 protection class – protection against touching with a finger and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.

The enclosure meets the requirements of PN-83/T-42106 standard regarding vibrations and shocks during transport and EN60529 standard regarding IP20 protection class. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -10°C to +40°C and relative humidity from 20% to 90% (without condensation). Remember to ensure proper mounting to ensure convective airflow through the ventilation openings – this is crucial for the reliable operation of the system.
