Enclosure for alarm and access control systems
This metal enclosure, with dimensions of 250x250x88mm (depth including protruding elements), is designed for mounting components of alarm systems, access control systems, and GSM devices. It is suitable for both alarm installations and access control systems, providing solid protection and an aesthetic appearance. It is a universal solution for installers and users looking for a reliable enclosure for their security systems.
Construction and application
The AWO040 enclosure is made of DC01 steel sheet with a thickness of 0.7 mm, which guarantees its mechanical strength and corrosion resistance – it is protected with a coating in RAL 9003 color. It is intended for indoor mounting, where the temperature is between -10°C and +40°C, and the relative humidity does not exceed 90%. Inside the enclosure, there is space for an alarm control panel, an access control system controller, a radio or GSM transmitter (e.g., PX100A, PX200A, LX10, SR-806ZJ), and optionally a buffer power supply. The possibility of mounting a 7Ah/12V battery further increases the functionality of the enclosure.
Safety and functionality
The enclosure is equipped with a tamper switch (NC – normally closed contact), which signals an attempt to open or detach it from the wall (when using the additional PKAZ066 module). This provides an additional level of system security. A 20VA/14V/18V transformer (compliant with EN 61558-2-6 standard) allows powering the connected devices. It is worth noting the possibility of connecting secondary voltages U1 or U2 (14V or 18V) and currents I1 or I2 (1.4A or 1.0A), which ensures compatibility with various devices. The enclosure has a protection rating of IP20.
