Optical signaling set – reliable power status indication

This compact optical signaling set, with dimensions of 66 x 20 mm, is designed to work with Pulsar’s PSB, PSG2, PSDCG2, PWB and PSDC series power supplies. Its main task is to visually signal the status of the power supply, which is particularly useful for both installers during commissioning and diagnostics, and for end-users in daily operation. This allows for quick recognition of potential problems and taking appropriate action.

Functionality and application

The PKAZ168 set consists of a signaling module and a 0.45 m long cable, which facilitates its connection to the power supply. Three LEDs inform about the status of the device – detailed interpretation of the light signals can be found in the power supply’s user manual. The module has double-sided adhesive tape on the PCB, which significantly simplifies mounting inside the power supply enclosure. Optical signaling allows for quick identification of problems without having to open the enclosure or perform complicated measurements.
