PoE Splitter – Double the Power in a Single Cable

This compact splitter, measuring 120 x 19 x 19 mm, allows you to power two PoE (Power over Ethernet) devices from a single network port. It's an ideal solution when there are not enough PoE ports available on your switch or when you need to split power and data to two IP cameras, access points, or other devices supporting the PoE standard. The device is designed to operate on 10/100 Mb/s networks, ensuring compatibility with most installations.

How does it work?

The P-POE2 splitter utilizes all four pairs of wires in a Cat. 5e UTP cable. Two pairs are used for TCP/IP data transmission, and the remaining two for power transmission. This makes it possible to deliver both data and power to two devices simultaneously. It is important to use accessories compliant with the 802.3af/at mode A (endspan) standard, which transmits power and data over pairs 1/2 and 3/6. Please note that the splitter will not work with Passive PoE switches.
