Video and power transmission over a single cable – saving and convenience

The P-TRPV1 passive transmitter kit is a practical solution for CCTV system installers and users who want to simplify cabling and reduce costs. It enables the transmission of HD video signal and camera power via a single UTP twisted pair cable, eliminating the need for separate cables. This saves time during installation and provides an aesthetically pleasing installation.

Universal compatibility and high signal quality

P-TRPV1 supports popular HD-CVI, HD-TVI and AHD video transmission standards, as well as the older CVBS standard. It provides a stable signal with an impedance of 75Ω for coaxial cable and 100Ω for twisted pair, thanks to impedance matching in the video path. This ensures a clear and sharp image, and the system is resistant to interference. For optimal operation, it is recommended to use UTP cables category 5e or higher. The transmission range of the signal depends on the video standard and cable category – up to 450 meters for HD-CVI 720p.

Simple installation and reliability

P-TRPV1 modules are equipped with BNC connectors for video signal transmission and JACK 2.1/5.5 sockets/plugs for connecting camera power. An LED located near the RJ45 connector indicates the presence of power supply voltage, making diagnostics easier. Installation involves crimping RJ45 connectors (making a simple connection) and connecting the appropriate video and power terminals – which significantly speeds up the installation process. The device operates in a wide temperature range (-10°C to 55°C) and is protected against humidity (up to 95% RH), guaranteeing reliable operation in various environmental conditions. The maximum output current is 1A at 12V DC. The module dimensions are compact 22 x 10 x 40 mm (with a cable length of 180mm).
