Enclosure for Speaker Line Supervision Modules

This robust enclosure, made of DC01 sheet metal, is designed for mounting speaker line supervision modules for Bosch's Digital Sound Optimization (DSO) systems. It is compatible with Presideo, Paviro, and Plena systems, ensuring versatility in various sound and alarm installations. The enclosure is designed for easy installation and secure placement of key system components.

Construction and Mounting

The AWO506 enclosure has external dimensions of 150x112x31+3 mm (with a tolerance of +/- 2mm), allowing for easy integration into existing installations. Made of 1.0mm thick DC01 sheet metal, coated with an anti-corrosion protection in RAL 9003 (white), it guarantees durability and resistance to environmental conditions. Four cable glands with a diameter of up to 10mm allow for organized introduction of speaker line cables with a maximum cross-section of 2.5mm². Mounting is done using four holes with a diameter of 6mm. The enclosure is screwed together using two cylindrical screws. IP30 protection class provides basic protection against touch and ingress of solid objects.

Application and Compatibility

The AWO506 enclosure is primarily used in DSO alarm system installations where safe and aesthetic placement of speaker line supervision modules is required. It is compatible with the following modules:

• LBB 4442/00 - subordinate supervision board (slave) – Presideo
• LBB 4441/00 - speaker supervision board – Presideo
• LBC 1256/00 - EVAC terminal block assembly
• PRA-EOL – line termination module - Praesensa

This makes it an integral part of comprehensive security and sound communication systems. It can also be used as an element of 19” DSO-PRA racks, offering flexibility in system design and configuration.
