Anti-tamper switch for alarm systems

This compact switch, known as a tamper, is used to protect alarm enclosures and devices from unauthorized access. Its function is to signal an attempt to open or damage the secured installation. This is particularly important in alarm systems, where the physical integrity of devices is crucial for the proper functioning of the entire system.

Construction and application

The ML101 switch has a C/NO (normally open) and C/NC (normally closed) switching contact in a closed housing. This means that under normal conditions, the NC contact is closed and the NO contact is open. When an attempt is made to manipulate the housing, the state of the contacts changes, generating an alarm signal. The switching current is 0.5A at 30VDC and 50VAC. This allows the tamper to work with a wide range of alarm panels and control modules.

Installation and compatibility

The device is dedicated to mounting in alarm system enclosures. For proper installation, it is recommended to use the PW050 bracket (available separately). Compact dimensions and simple construction make installation easy even in tight spaces. The ML101 anti-tamper switch is a discreet but effective security element that increases the alarm system's resistance to sabotage and ensures its reliable operation.
