This transformer is a reliable power source for a variety of devices requiring alternating voltage. With a power of 60VA and the ability to select an output voltage of 18V or 20V, it will work well in both alarm installations and other applications where stable and safe operation is required. Construction and application

The TRZ60VA/18V/20V transformer is resin-encapsulated, which provides it with high resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The housing made of PC/ABS plastic (UL94 V-0 class) guarantees safety of use and corrosion resistance. The IP43 protection class means that the transformer is protected against the ingress of solids and against condensing moisture. This allows it to be used indoors, in rooms with moderate humidity. It is particularly recommended for use with Satel alarm enclosures of the OPU3-P, OPU4-P and OPU4-PW series, but its application is not limited to them.

Safety and protection

The applied protections – thermal (130°C) and fuse (0.5A) – protect both the transformer itself and the devices connected to it against overload and short circuit. This is crucial to ensure the continuity of the system and minimize the risk of failure. The thermal protection will activate in the event of overheating, and the fuse in the event of excessive load - they work together to provide comprehensive protection. It is important to choose the correct fuse to ensure optimal installation protection.

Installation and compatibility

The transformer is easy and intuitive to install – it can be mounted both with screws to a flat surface and on a TH35/TS35 (DIN) mounting rail using a dedicated AWO466 bracket (available separately). The wire outputs are made to AWG 24-12 (2.5mm²) standard, which facilitates connection to the electrical installation. The set includes mounting elements: screws for plastics and sheet metal screws with caps. The supply voltage is 230V AC / 50Hz, and the current consumption is 0.33A. The dimensions of the transformer are 75 x 124 x 65 mm (+/- 2 mm), and its weight is approximately 1.4 kg.
