Multilayer heating and water supply pipe PE-RT/AL/PE-RT

Multilayer pipe with cladding, designed for the construction of central heating and water supply installations. Made of a combination of polyethylene with increased thermal resistance (PE-RT), an aluminum layer and another layer of PE-RT. This construction combines the advantages of plastics and metal, providing strength, flexibility and corrosion resistance. The pipe is supplied in a coil with a length of 50 meters.

Construction and properties

The five-layer structure of the pipe – two layers of PE-RT, two layers of adhesive and a front-welded aluminum layer – ensures high resistance to pressure and temperature. The aluminum layer acts as an anti-diffusion barrier, preventing oxygen from penetrating the installation, which is particularly important in heating systems. The inner layer of PE-RT is characterized by high chemical resistance and hygiene, making the pipe safe for drinking water. Additionally, the pipe is resistant to scale build-up and has low flow resistance.

The PURMO CleverFit pipe is used in:

Its flexibility makes installation easier, and the possibility of using threaded and crimp fittings gives freedom in designing installations. The pipe meets the EN ISO 21003 standard, which guarantees its high quality and safety of use. The maximum operating temperature is 95°C at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar.
