Multilayer pipe for heating and water systems

The PE-RT/AL/PE-RT pipe with Velcro is a versatile solution for heating, cold and hot water installations, as well as drinking water. The pipe construction combines the advantages of plastics and steel, providing high chemical resistance and preventing corrosion and scaling. This makes it ideal for both professional installers and users who value durability and reliability.

The pipe is distinguished by its unique structure – it has an aluminum layer in the middle of the wall, which prevents oxygen penetration, minimizes thermal expansion and allows maintaining the given shape during bending. The aluminum layer is laser-welded end-to-end, which guarantees uniform thickness throughout the cross-section and high resistance to stress. Additionally, a special adhesive layer prevents delamination of the pipe, and the combination of aluminum with polyethylene provides its flexibility.

Supplied in a coil with a length of 240 meters, wrapped with a special Velcro tape to facilitate mounting on Klettjet insulating mats. The pipe with a diameter of 16x2 mm is characterized by a thermal conductivity of 0.42 W/(m.K) and a water capacity of 0.113 l/m. The wall thickness is 2 mm.

Construction and properties

The construction of the PE-RT/AL/PE-RT pipe is based on three layers: inner and outer polyethylene (PE-RT) and a middle aluminum layer. This construction provides a number of benefits:
