Keystone RJ45 shielded socket cat. 6 – quick installation and data protection

This shielded RJ45 keystone socket, category 6, from Q-LANTEC, is designed for building reliable subscriber points and patch panels in telecommunication networks. It ensures stable data transmission even in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference (STP). Its construction allows for easy and quick installation without the use of specialized tools, which is particularly appreciated by installers.

Construction and application

The socket has been designed with versatility in mind. Thanks to special fixings, it can be installed in various elements of the network infrastructure – empty patch panels, wall or floor boxes. It is an ideal solution for both new installations and the modernization of existing networks. The tool-less design significantly reduces installation time, which translates into savings in time and costs. The socket is compatible with shielded U/FTP, F/UTP, F/FTP and S/FTP cables, however, to maintain optimal performance, it is not recommended to use it with unshielded cables.
